GRADE GUIDE
"A" Quality/STANDARD:
Near 'Perfect' (Often called JACKET GRADE)
Pins of this quality have no glaring errors/major imperfections
’Imperfections’ are only visible close-up and some of those may include:
- Superficial marks or scratches on metal or enamel surface
- Superficial specks/dots
- Slightly low or uneven fills
- Imperfections on the back or side of pin
- Very slightly misaligned screenprinting (on screenprinted pins)
- Other superficial imperfections that are only visible upon very close-up inspection and/or from looking at the pin under certain lighting or from a specific angle.
“B+” Grade:
These are usually one or two steps off from an A/Jacket Grade pin
Small but still obvious errors at a second pass offered at a slight discount
Perfect for folx who prefer to wear their pins daily ♡

"B" Quality:
Offered at a significant discount
Errors are as follows:
- Lint pieces stuck in the enamel/metal
- Patches of bleed
- Missing enamel fills (small areas)
- Enamel bubbling/wrinkling
- Very low fills in larger or visually important areas
- Wonky or warped enamel fill
- Noticeable smudges and/or staining on the metal or enamel surface
- Oxidization of the metal
- Noticeable and/or deep scratches that span across the metal and/or enamel
- Slightly loose posts/backings
- Perfect for folx who prefer to wear their pins daily ♡
